It's not often a vagabond snowman makes his way to Austin. Imagine our surprise early this afternoon when this friendly fellow showed up on our doorstep, kindly requesting a modern igloo designed by Specht Harpman!Although this isn't our area of expertise, we're going to send him a proposal (despite the reputation these types of clients have for not sticking around to see things through!) -

On January 28th and 29th, Louise will be holed up in a small room with a prestigious handful of designers, poring over more than 960 entries for the 2010 Residential Architect Design Awards. She is honored to have been selected to serve on this jury, and will be happy to receive bribes of chocolate, although they will in no way affect her decisions.
